Welcome to Stitch Club
where sewing is FUN!
"Jeanette is really sweet and encouraging.  She never made
me feel bad if I made a mistake and is always very patient.
Thanks!"  --Mindy
The popularity of sewing is growing.  "Sewing your own clothes is back in vogue,"
was reported by Time magazine in November 2006. The article concluded that
people are "inspired by the desire for a unique look and by reality TV shows like
Project Runway..."  The
Home Sewing Association estimates that there are about
35 million sewing hobbyists in the U.S., up from roughly 30 million in 2000, and
annual sales of Singer sewing machines have doubled to 3 million since 1999.
Sewing is a skill that will last a lifetime.

Sewing reduces stress!
Whether you are young or old, regardless of your stage in life - you can learn to
sew.  Sewing reduces stress and gives one a sense of accomplishment.  Besides
being a relaxing activity, sewing can also be profitable.  Some fashion savy men and
women desire custom handmade couture clothing.  Many seek to have their clothing
altered to fit them better as their bodies change.  Others need custom home
furnishings.  The possibilities are endless!

Should my child learn to sew?
Sewing builds confidence and self esteem in a child.  It teaches patience,
perseverance and fosters creativity.  Your child will feel a sense of
accomplishment when he/she proudly proclaims, "I made it myself!"
Sewing is BACK!
